what a classy town...
So we crusied around the south coast to esperence where we spent the night staying in the national park, the camp site was right on the beach at lucky bay, which has been voted the best beach in australia, and it was pretty nice. At dusk a load of roo's came down to the beach to chill out.

The next morning we climbed up frenchmans peak to get the best views of the park. After a hard 30min climb it was worth he effort. We were only about 300meters up, but the rest of he park and coastline looked amazing...

After esperance we headed up to a town called Norseman, our last stop before the Nullarbor, on he way up we stopped at a gas station for an ice cream, and noticed oil leaking out of the van, not a good sign as we were about to embark on a 1500km journey across a desert. luckily when we arrived at norseman they had an RAC garage that was open, which was a miracle as it was grand final day (similar to the FA Cup final) and the rest of the place was like a ghost town. He told us to come back in the morning when the engine was cold and he would tell us if we were good to go or not...
To kill some time we went to the pub for a drink, and for not the first time spotted a strange style of dress that gets worn behind the bar. Basically it's a girl in her underwear... which is a bit weird as it's a full on family pub, with people having something to eat with their kids, and behind the bar is this young girl in some red lacey get up. very strange... at to top it off there is some pervy 60 year old landlord in the corner watching (and i'd say doing his best not to start touching himself in public!)
sunny norseman
