*** BIRTHDAY GIRL DOWN UNDER ***
Hey everyone, sorry we've been a bit quiet recently but we've been hard at work in perth.
So yesterday was Alexia's 25th birthday, and as she had spoiled me rotten on mine, I figured I'd better do my best to return the favour. We started the day with breakfast in bed, Two big egg and bacon sangas to get the day started, we even splashed out on a fresh loaf of bread!!!

After breakfast Alexia open her cards from her family, and was very suprised to find she had cards from the Mitchinson's as well! She also got a couple of presents, a CD she's been after, and three iced mochas! not much I know, but we are on a budget!

Next we headed over to Subiaco (or Subi as the locals call it) to have a look round the shops and schmooze around the weekend market. Lex bought a lovely ring (after spending about an hour deciding which one she wanted! Her nanna longway very kindly donated some money to our cause, and lex wanted to get a nice memento of the trip. We then headed over to the city, and booked into a hostel for the night, before a bit more window shopping in the centre of Perth. The day was perfect, blue sky and sunny (around 22C).

In the evening for dinner we went out for a pre-dinner glass of wine in a lovelya teppanyaki bbq at a japenese restaurant, it was great fun with the chef stood right in front of us cooking our dinner with lots of tricks and karate style moves!

After dinner, on the way back to our hostel and feeling alittle tired after a bottle of wine, for some reason I thought it would be a good idea and a good giggle to try my hand at an acade dance comp....why...? Who knows-must have been the wine!

I had an absolutely brilliant and unforgettable birthday down under. Thank you to everyone back home for your lovely messages, calls and cards, it helped the day feel that much more special. Adam was also the perfect boyfriend and spoiled me rotten all-day.
